New design centre for Honeycombe Beach buyers

Buyers looking forward to moving into Honeycombe Beach, Barratt Homes’ highly sought-after development at Boscombe Spa Village, can now tailor their home to their exact tastes, thanks to a major new service from the company.

Barratt has opened its first Choices centre in the region, a designated design centre where people who have bought properties at the landmark beachfront development can view the wide range of different fixtures and fittings available for their new home.

All Honeycombe Beach buyers can now visit the centre, on Boscombe beach promenade next to the current sales office, to choose the specifications for their kitchens and bathrooms as part of the standard price. This includes worktops and tiles – which are already of a fantastic quality - but they also have the option of paying extra for a wide variety of tailored upgrades.

“The centre is well equipped and is effectively providing people with a bespoke service,” said Kevin Love, sales negotiator based at the site. Kevin and colleague Karen Culver will be running the centre on an appointment only basis.

There is a kitchen mock up, together with samples of all the different tiles, work surfaces and fittings, examples of the wood flooring and wide range of carpets available. Enabling customers, many of whom will have bought their homes off plan, to see exactly how the various colours and patterns will work in different-sized properties.

“Upgrades include funky and ultra modern extras including integrated sound systems, flip down TV’s for the kitchen, mounted television in the bathroom set into the tiles, as well as a choice of top of the range appliances and electrical goods,” continued Kevin.

“Buyers here are getting excited as their homes are starting to take shape, one purchaser has said to me that it suddenly made it all seem real and that he could now picture living in his new home.

“Choices was trialled in Yorkshire and proved a great success and we are so pleased to be able to bring it to the south.”

Prices are plot specific as Honeycombe Beach apartments come in various shapes and sizes, which is why a sales negotiator will organise an appointment to dedicate time to an individual purchaser.

Honeycombe Beach offers 169 high specification properties, including one and two bedroom apartments and 12 luxury penthouse suites. Boasting the most incredible position practically on the beach, many of the properties boast views across the English Channel, towards Hengistbury Head and Poole.
