Treetops appoints Hamptons International at Axis

Treetops appoints Hamptons International at Axis Renowned property developer Treetops has appointed Hamptons International to handle the sales of bespoke properties at its latest development.

The Axis development in Craigleith, Edinburgh is a £12million showcase for Treetops, which has established an enviable reputation for specialised, high-quality construction projects in the past 10 years.

With a mix of 28 apartments, nine townhouses and two luxury penthouses, the venture is one of the most ambitious to date for the Edinburgh-based firm.

Two-bedroom apartments are already proving highly sought after. Now, Hamptons has been brought in to mastermind sales of the three-bedroom townhouses and the stunning penthouses.

Since establishing a Scottish presence just over a year ago with offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, Hamptons has made significant gains in the market north of the border and sees Axis as a coup in its ongoing growth.

Kenneth Dyer, joint managing director of Treetops, said he and colleagues gave careful consideration to the appointment and added: “Every time we develop a site, we pin our entire reputation on making sure it is of the very highest quality.

“Since we put that degree of care and attention into what we do it was essential we found a selling agent that shares those qualities. We are confident that Hamptons International is the right choice.

“Their reputation globally is excellent and they are a household name in London and the south of England. While they may be less well-known in Scotland that is something they are intent on changing and I have no doubt Axis will benefit from their desire to make an impact here.”

Treetops prides itself in working in a highly individual way and at Axis it has created a private community with secure underground parking, while the build quality includes anti-ageing building materials, non-slam doors and silent-running lifts.

It is to set itself apart from other developers through the high levels of workmanship and quality of materials used, while its choice of up and coming locations allows it to set sensible prices in an often crowded market.

That commitment to quality has proven successful at all previous Treetops developments, which have climbed substantially in value, including flats on nearby Crewe Road North, built in 1998.

Christopher Bilborough, director, Scotland at Hamptons International, said: “We are proud to be working with Treetops who have won a number of NHBC awards, which tells you a great deal about the company and its commitment to excellence.”

Prices at Axis start from £195,000 for a 2-bedroom apartment, with townhouses at fixed prices from £375,000-£415,000 and penthouses for offers over £475,000. For further information, visit hamptons.co.uk.
