Whitchurch welcomes ‘Next’ generation of showhome

Burnt orange tones reign supreme in the lounge Persimmon has well and truly bought the home pages of the Next Directory to life with the launch of the stunning new showhome at its Highgate Mews development in Whitchurch.

Officially unveiled on 14th July, the three/four bedroom Leicester has been styled exclusively using items from the Spring/Summer 2007 Collection, all of which can be found in the current Directory.

Long gone are the days of all neutral colours, today, when it comes to showhomes, interior designers are experimenting with the best and bold themes around and the Leicester at Highgate Mews is no exception. Eileen Wilcox, interior designer behind the scheme, has used a vibrant mix of colours, tactile fabrics and wallpaper alongside striking accessories inside the property - burnt orange tones reign supreme in the lounge, whilst bedrooms are more serene, incorporating calming duck egg blue and delicate plum to name but a few.

Eileen comments: “Anyone who has ever wanted to wander around a home that looks as if it has stepped right out of a glossy magazine should pay a visit to Highgate Mews.

“We have proved that when it comes to interior design, brave and bold is the way forward and visitors are going to be well and truly overwhelmed with this property.”

The launch of the showhome at Highgate Mews has been highly anticipated amongst buyers in Whitchchurch so to reward househunters for their patience, Persimmon is offering a great range of home moving deals for all reservations during the launch weekend, including its hugely successful Home Change incentive.

With Home Change, customers have the security of reserving their desired plot with the added bonus that Persimmon will handle the sale of their existing home and take care of associated advertising fees and estate agent costs which may be a deterrent to some potential home movers. The property is marketed at a price agreed with the customer based on valuations from two independent estate agents and is marketed for five weeks. Once an offer has been accepted, £500 reservation fee is paid by the customer and their new property is secured.

Highgate Mews is situated at Liverpool Road in Whitchurch - a bustling market town ideally placed for exploring Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales. Steeped in history, it also offers superb facilities including the civic centre with concert hall, cinema, good range of high street stores and a leisure centre which caters for every sports enthusiast.

Chester, Wrexham, Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury are all within easy reach of Whitchurch and the M6 is under half an hour away. The local railway offers regular services to Crewe and Cardiff and London Euston takes a little over two hours from Crewe. Two bedroom coach house apartments are currently priced from £135,000 and three bedroom family homes from £185,000.
