Shrewsbury saleswoman decides to live with her work A Shrewsbury sales executive liked the new homes she was selling so much she bought one herself! Lynn Wilkes works at Rosehill on Holywell Street by George Wimpey North Midlands and decided to ‘put her money where her mouth is’ after falling in love with the three bedroom semi detached York home - with it’s unique triangular living spaces.

She explains: “It’s built in a ‘L’ shape and therefore on an angle, making the whole home a bit quirky with distinctive rooms throughout – in essence it’s got character. The York is one of my favourite George Wimpey designs and although I work for the company I honestly believe that the build quality is second to none and that I’ve made a great investment. Since coming to work in Shrewsbury nine months ago, I’ve fallen in love with the town, while Rosehill itself has such a fabulous location. It’s literally just round the corner from the imposing Shrewsbury Abbey and also Abbey Foregate’s pretty mix of cafes, bars, independent shops and restaurants.”

Lynn moved in just last weekend, but if you want to take advantage of Shrewsbury’s best new address than you’d better move fast – as just five properties remain.

Last availability at Rosehill is made up of trendy three storey properties that maximise the space available and quite simply provide more home for your money and a truly flexible approach to today’s spontaneous lifestyles.

The four bedroom, three storey Wells with garage (£229,995) is such a home and is modern, aspirational living personified - designed for the discerning and image conscious and with 1,225 square foot of living space to play with. They’ve been selling well recently and little wonder, because all four bedrooms are a good size (especially 1 & 2) while the lounge benefits from French doors out to the rear garden and there is a downstairs cloakroom on the ground floor, a family bathroom on the first floor and a private ensuite off the master bedroom up in the heavens. Just two Wells remain, but one is the stunning showhome which contains over £30,000 worth of free designer extras and is now available pretty much as seen for £266,000.

Also available are the last remaining Salisbury housetypes, which is a smaller version of the Wells and with an identical layout on the ground and first floor. This three bedroom, three-storey mews home of distinction can be yours for only £213,000, which is very good value for upmarket Abbey Foregate.

And for those who prefer apartment living, there’s an unexpected chance to snap up the last two bedroom Chichester apartment for just £151,000 – with additional benefits like fitted carpets and interiors packages available.

When complete shortly, Rosehill will constitute 73 properties made up of two bedroom apartments, three and four bedroom mews properties, plus some semi-detached houses.

The Sales Centre and showhomes at Rosehill are open seven days a week between 11am and 5pm, or visit the company website at Georgewimpey.co.uk.
