Barratt shop opens in Shrewsbury

Situated on Castle Street, the shop is being run in conjunction with the sales cabin, which is located at the old entrance to the FC ground.
In a competition run by Barratt, Wakeman School pupils Samantha Barlow and Nicole Butler chose the development’s name, “Severn Meadows” because the site is adjacent to the River Severn and the old football ground was called “Gay Meadow”.
Many of the three, four and five bedroom homes on the new development will have views of the River Severn and the property designs will include bespoke duplex apartments and maisonettes, all with an upgraded specification rarely seen in new homes. Many of the properties will have valuable outside space in the form of roof gardens and balconies.
Barratt Sales Manager Lee Bowers commented: “This site will be home to a number of unique property designs and is going to be one of our premier locations, with many of the properties targeted at professionals and families. We’re delighted to have acquired the land and we are sure the people of Shrewsbury will come to regard Severn Meadows as one of the most prestigious developments in the area.”
