New development coming soon to Telford
A brand new development of homes called Clover Mead from Barratt West Midlands, situated on The Crescent in Lawley, Telford was officially launched to the public this month (August).Comprising a selection of one- and two-bedroom apartments and two- three- four- and five-bedroom houses, Clover Mead offers a range of properties for a variety of different purchasers. Once complete, this latest development of 218 homes in Telford will become part of the town's ‘Ironstone' development, where over 3,300 new homes are to be built in total.
David Child, Sales Director for Barratt commented, "Clover Mead is going to be a substantial development of new homes which will contribute to the much needed housing stock for the area. Build work is now well underway and so I am pleased to announce that the development officially opened to the public this. This is our second development in the Telford area, and our existing development, Monarch Fields has proven to be very popular and we expect Clover Mead will continue to build on this success.
"Not only will visitors and potential purchasers have the chance to speak with our experienced sales negotiators and find out more specific information about the development at the launch, but they will also be the very first to see our brand new, five-bedroom showhome which will also be unveiled."
Plot 6, the five-bedroom, three-storey showhome has been thoughtfully styled by interior design company, Designer Contracts. Helen Roberts, Interior Designer at the firm explained, "A palette of smooth chocolate and zesty limes feature throughout this home whilst we have introduced features and points of interest by incorporating different themes to rooms throughout the home, for example the guest bedroom, which has drawn inspiration from a luxury spa.
"The second floor is dedicated to the children of the family with a mountain bike themed teenage boy's room which features leafy wall coverings and fabrics to bring the outside in, whilst the additional bedroom has been designed for a small child, with appliquéd fabrics and a farmyard theme."
Ironstone is being led by national regeneration agency, English Partnerships and delivered by the Ironstone Developer Group (IDG), a consortium of Barratt and two other national housebuilders. Along with new homes, Ironstone will also provide a range of amenities such as shops, offices, restaurants, bars, a new primary school and parks.
