Gated community in Shropshire offers exclusive living

5th January 2009 Print
Housebuyers looking for an exclusive property in the quiet yet established Shropshire market town of Bridgnorth can have it all with the small but perfectly formed new David Wilson Mercia Ludlow Gate development.

This high quality, gated scheme comprises just seven unmissable properties of five and six-bedrooms and is available from February 2008 for viewing. The option to relocate to a beautiful countryside location has never been such an attractive prospect, as buyers can live close to the restaurants, art galleries and historical attractions Bridgnorth has to offer, in the comfort and luxury of a contemporary, brand new home.

Situated on Ludlow Road, the development is set to launch on Thursday, February 6th, where after viewings are available by appointment only to fully appreciate these plush, stunning properties. Early indications suggest they will be priced around £480,000.

Planning permission was acquired for this development in the historic High Town on 29th October 2007 and with this approval, the community has benefited from the housebuilder's £10,000 contribution to Highways, plus a £65,000 contribution to open space.

Andy Peters, Managing Director for David Wilson Mercia, said, "This exclusive gated scheme has been carefully placed in a lovely area of Bridgnorth. The seven properties boast large living spaces ranging from 2,500 to 3,500 sq ft, having been built on a former residential site.

"These properties have been built to the highest specification and we at David Wilson Mercia are hugely excited about this new development, as it is the first time we have built in Bridgnorth.

"The town is such a desirable location, as it sits within Shropshire - one of the prettiest and most sought after counties to own a property. The countryside surrounding Ludlow Gate is unrivalled and other chocolate box villages and picturesque market towns are within easy reach for a day or evening out. Not only does the town offer some great conveniences such as the recently opened Marks & Spencer Simply Food outlet, it also sits next to the beautiful River Severn, making Ludlow Gate the perfect place to make that relocation to the countryside."
