Final homes at The Forge offer new way of living The final selection of high-quality homes offering a superb sustainable way of living are now on sale at The Forge, George Wimpey’s sought-after development at Ironstone in Lawley, Shropshire.

Comprising a delightful range of three and four-bedroom homes, the final phase of development offers house-hunters the opportunity to secure their dream home from only £159,995 – and benefit from a better way of living in the spirit of Bournville Village.

Daniel McGowan, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “As at Bournville, long-term stewardship of the wider Ironstone development will be secured by the Village Trust, ensuring the streets, primary school, parks, shops, offices, restaurants and bars that make up this new community look clean and tidy in years to come.”

Ironstone Management Services (IMS), a joint venture between Bournville Village Trust and Beth Johnson Housing Association, will deliver Stewardship at Ironstone, which includes estate wardens, enhanced community communications and events, digital technology and high-quality landscaping. Residents will also be encouraged to make decisions about the future of their village.

Among the homes available now at The Forge is the four-bedroom ‘Broseley’, a beautiful stone-finished home boasting a wealth of character and priced from only £249,995.

The L-shaped layout maximises light and offers garden views throughout much of the ground floor, which comprises a spacious kitchen/breakfast room with separate utility area, a lounge with French doors to the garden, a dining room and a cloakroom.

Upstairs, the landing leads to four bedrooms – two with en-suite facilities – and a main bathroom.

Like all new homes at The Forge, the final homes enjoy a high standard specification including low-energy boilers for water and central heating, high levels of insulation, double glazing and fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.

The Forge is part of Ironstone, a brand new sustainable village community at Lawley, within easy reach of Telford and the beautiful Shropshire countryside and comprising four distinct neighbourhoods, a bustling social hub, classical architecture and open spaces.

The community has also been carefully designed to integrate a range of new facilities, including its own central square with designer shops, trendy wine bars and eateries, a mixed-use village centre and a primary school, as well as a wide choice of affordable homes.

For commuters, the village is well-served by existing and new public transport links and the M54 and M6 are a short drive away.

Telford – the largest town in Shropshire – lies less than three miles from the development and is home to a vast array of leisure opportunities, including a large shopping centre and the accompanying town park, a large cinema, bars, cafes, restaurants and a vibrant nightlife.

To find out more, visit The Forge Sales Centre, located off Arlestone Lane, Lawley, and seven days a week from 11am to 5pm.
