New homes offer a touch of magic in Abergavenny A luxurious new development of detached homes is now on sale in Abergavenny following a magical launch event and the opening of an enchanting new show home. More than 100 visitors flocked to the event to showcase Redrow's new Croesonnen Court development, off Croesonen Parc - a fabulous venture of four and five-bedroom homes with a picturesque location on the edge of the world-famous Brecon Beacons National Park.

The VIP guests were greeted with a champagne reception and entertained by a magician in the beautiful new show home. The opening of the four-bedroom ‘Pantgwyn' show property gave buyers a first opportunity to take a glimpse inside a showcase home, which has been decorated and furnished to the highest specification by Redrow's professional interior designers.

The show home has been given a striking, contemporary design throughout. A luxurious black, grey and taupe colour-scheme in the living area is accentuated with rich dark wood furniture, a sumptuous cream carpet and African influences in the artwork and accessories. The ultra modern kitchen has high specification bold red units, a work island and chic black and chrome furniture.

Visitors to the launch event also took the opportunity to look around a newly kitted out marketing suite, where they could view a model of the development and computer-generated images of the new homes.

Luly Brice, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales), said: "We were delighted with the turnout at our launch weekend for Croesonnen Court. We are now welcoming more visitors to the development, where they can view the striking new show home. Our emphasis is on quality and finish and the properties we have for sale are sure to catch the eye of the most discerning homebuyer."

Redrow is already well known in the town following its sensitive conversion and redevelopment of the former Pen-y-fal Hospital and grounds to create luxury houses and apartments with period features. This latest, luxurious development will have a finished value of circa £8 million and is being built on the site of the former Croesonen Farm and School.

Luly added: "This new homes venture will particularly appeal to families who aspire to own a highly desirable home on a small exclusive private development of just 26 new homes.

"Croesonnen Court has a host of great local amenities close by, including good primary and secondary schools, food stores selling quality local produce, banks and building societies, and an impressive selection of pubs and restaurants."

There are good road links to Newport, Cardiff and the M4 and M50 motorways, while Abergavenny train station is less than a mile away with direct services to Newport and Cardiff.

Homes currently available are priced from £439,995 for a four-bedroom detached home.
