Persimmon brings £46 million worth of homes to West Yorkshire

These new developments, which will incorporate a mix of one and two bedroom apartments together with three and four bedroom homes, will all be constructed on brownfield land – the site at Kirkstall was occupied by a former nursing home, the land at Woodlesford was a disused mill whilst the site at Keighley was the former Bronte Middle School.

These deals follow on from Persimmon’s recent announcement regarding the acquisition of 2.17 acres of land in Wilsden. The scheme will have a gross development value of around £11 million and will comprise of 41 properties being a mix of two bedroom apartments, two, three and four bedroom mews’ and four bedroom detached homes.
Timothy Pegg, land manager for Persimmon’s West Yorkshire region said: “Bringing forward four new sites during the second half of the year is a major achievement for us. The developments will come as welcome additions to our already popular and extensive portfolio of quality new homes and we are delighted to be playing a major part in changing the residential face of the region.”
