Celebrity launch for West Yorkshire development

Celebrity launch for West Yorkshire development Actor Kelvin Fletcher, who plays Andy Sugden in ITV’s Emmerdale, is opening the new showhome at Beck Homes’ Greenroyd Mill development in Sutton-in-Craven, West Yorkshire on Saturday, 5 April 2008 at 1.30 pm.

As well as cutting the ribbon on the traditional three-bedroom townhouse, Kelvin will be available from 1pm to 2.30 pm to meet members of the public who are visiting the showhome and development.

Once completed Greenroyd Mill will comprise 76 new build and refurbished homes in the existing mill that will allow the retention of an important local landmark and the re-use of a derelict mill building.

Sales Manager Simon DiCanio says: “This is an exiting project that will do justice to the old mill as well as providing new homes in a picturesque and traditional setting. We have ensured the architecture of the new build homes is sympathetic to the existing mill building and provides a collection of homes that will maintain the architectural traditions of the area.

All of our two-bedroom townhouses have been sold and attention now falls on the larger three-bedroom townhouses. Each of the three bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom and the first floor lounge leads on to a spacious balcony through two sets of French doors.
The specification of the townhouses is modern and stylish and will include fully fitted quality kitchens with laminated worktops and upstands. Stainless steel back panels are a feature of the gas hob, with electric single oven and cooker hood fitted as standard.

Completing the stylish kitchens will be Neff appliances including integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher and fitted washer-dryer, all highlighted with polished chrome downlighters.

However, it is the extra touches that set this Beck Homes development apart. Luxury chrome heated towel rails to all bathrooms and ensuites, digital security alarms with PIR fittings, front and rear gardens fully turfed, and block paved driveways all add to the impressive specification that homebuyers can expect at Greenroyd Mill. And, when they are available, every apartment will have two car parking spaces.

Sutton-in-Craven is home to some stunning scenery as the village is nestled in a clough surrounded by hills including Ravenstones, Aden and Earl’s Cragg. The beautiful and well-located village is within commuting distances of most major towns and cities in West Yorkshire and, thanks to the M65 link, within easy commuting distance of East Lancashire. There is an excellent rail service from Steeton, which is 10 minutes away by car, providing links to Leeds and Bradford.

Prices at Greenroyd Mill start from only £249.950. For further information visit the sales centre which is open Thursday to Monday from 10.30am to 5pm. Alternatively visit Beckhomes.co.uk.
