Persimmon continues West Yorkshire investment

Leeds-based Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire is continuing to sell homes at a steady rate and Millside and Highfield Chase are welcome additions to the company's 20-strong development portfolio.
Millside at Shay Lane in aspirational Wilsden comprises three and four bedroom homes including a range of apartments, townhouses and detached properties and Highfield Chase on Occupation Lane includes a mix of two, three and four bedroom designs.
Homes at both developments, (subject to stage of construction) can be personalised via Persimmon's Finishing Touches whereby purchasers can choose items from a comprehensive range to add their very own touch of individuality.
Andrew Demain, business development director for Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire, said: "This region has always been a top performer in the Persimmon Group and we are maintaining this success despite a hardening financial climate.
"These new developments are in locations where there is an ongoing demand for quality properties and we believe there is sufficient market interest to sustain them.
"We have also introduced a range of new incentives, including our Helping Hand shared equity deal which is now available on traditional homes as well as apartments, to ensure purchasers can find a deal which suits their circumstances and are confident that this, coupled with the fantastic choice of properties we have on offer at Millside and Highfield Chase, will ensure the success of these exciting new schemes.
"Properties at Millside and Highfield Chase have been priced realistically in line with the current market and buyers are bound to appreciate the value-for-money these homes offer."
Wilsden is a beautiful rural village close to the Aire Valley and the historic village of Haworth, home of the Bronte sisters and is less than two miles from Harden where the beautiful waterfalls in Goit Stock woods can be found. In contrast however, the development is conveniently situated just five miles West of Bradford and Keighley, just over 20 miles to Leeds and around eight miles from Leeds/Bradford International Airport. The nearest train station in Bingley is around two miles away and the development is situated between the A650 and the A629.
Highfield Chase boasts the best of both worlds - it is ideally placed for visiting Oakwell Hall in nearby Batley however in contrast, it's around nine miles from the centre of Leeds and is easily accessible for the M62 and M1 motorways for commutable access to the north or south.
