Tangible new homes await buyers in Leeds

Tangible new homes await buyers in Leeds Upgrading to a brand new home can be a quick, simple and cost-effective business, especially in the current marketplace. Developers like Redrow have a selection of new homes that are ready to move into, which avoids the wait while your new home is built - and, with the availability of part-exchange on selected plots, there's no danger of being stuck in a chain either.

Traditionally, new homes are bought ‘off-plan' - sometimes before the first brick has even been laid - and purchasers must wait weeks, maybe even months, for their property to be finished.

Choosing what developers call a ‘stock plot' instead brings several advantages, as Redrow Homes (Yorkshire) sales director Patsy Aicken, explains: "By choosing a home that's already built customers can see and touch what they are buying. They can experience the finished layout and specification of their new home, measure for furniture and truly appreciate the final setting of their home and the surrounding landscape. They're getting a new home that's ready to move into without delay and often it will include extra items like fitted carpets and turfed rear gardens.

"They're also getting all the intrinsic benefits of a brand new home - more energy efficient than their older, second hand counterparts; a high specification that includes quality fixtures and fittings, modern kitchens and bathrooms, central heating, double glazing and no need for costly renovation; and the reassurance of the NHBC's 10-year Buildmark warranty."

Redrow has new apartments which are build-complete or almost ready at West 12, in Wortley, Leeds.

Perfect for first time home owners and others on a budget, these contemporary apartments feature a spacious lounge area and separate kitchen and include a single parking space. They are priced from as little as £115,995.

West 12 is closely situated to the bright lights of Leeds city centre and all its amenities and cultural attractions. It is also well served by public transport and just off the A6110 ring road, within easy reach of the M621, M62 and M1 motorways.

Redrow also offers a package of help, advice and incentives under the umbrella of ‘re:assure', which, depending on the plot and the location, could include part-exchange, help with the deposit, stamp duty or other moving costs, a mortgage subsidy or maybe the opportunity to defer a portion of the initial purchase price for up to 10 years."
