New homes in Gilstead are ready and waiting

Traditionally, new homes are bought ‘off-plan' - sometimes before the first brick has even been laid - and purchasers must wait weeks, maybe even months, for their property to be finished.
Choosing what developers call a ‘stock plot' instead brings several advantages, as Redrow Homes (Yorkshire) sales director Patsy Aicken, explains: "By choosing a home that's already built customers can see and touch what they are buying. They can experience the finished layout and specification of their new home, measure for furniture and truly appreciate the final setting of their home and the surrounding landscape. They're getting a new home that's ready to move into without delay and often it will include extra items like fitted carpets and turfed rear gardens.
"They're also getting all the intrinsic benefits of a brand new home - more energy efficient than their older, second hand counterparts; a high specification that includes quality fixtures and fittings, modern kitchens and bathrooms, central heating, double glazing and no need for costly renovation; and the reassurance of the NHBC's 10-year Buildmark warranty."
Redrow has new homes which are build-complete or almost ready at Oak Glen, Gilstead.
They include the two-bedroom ‘Avon' apartment, priced at £99,950, the three-bedroom ‘Canterbury', available from £149,999 and the four-bedroom ‘Roadford' which is priced at £299,999.
Oak Glen is set in the semi-rural surrounds of Gilstead yet with Bradford city centre just a short drive away and easy access to the M62.
Redrow also offers a package of help, advice and incentives under the umbrella of ‘re:assure', which, depending on the plot and the location, could include part-exchange, help with the deposit, stamp duty or other moving costs, a mortgage subsidy or maybe the opportunity to defer a portion of the initial purchase price for up to 10 years."
