Affordable living in Bradford

National housebuilder Miller Homes is pleased with the report figures and has released its latest affordable homes for househunters in Bradford. The award winning housebuilder has priced its three bedroom Denholm housetype at Flaxton Court in Tyersal, for just £124 per week using the company’s acclaimed MiWay initiative.
Jan Hanaby, regional sales manager for Miller Homes Yorkshire said: “New homes haven’t been this affordable for years. Asking prices have come right down and, for the right buyers, interest rates are following suit. Many of our buyers are now finding that they can afford to buy new.”
The Miller MiWay has helped almost 270 homebuyers afford a new Miller home last year. Purchasers are able to buy a new home without having to pay the full purchase price up front, but still own 100 percent of the property from day one. The scheme allows buyers to pay 75% now and 25% later with help in the form of long term equity loan from Miller Homes, with no interest or rent to pay (see millerhomes.co.uk/miway for details).
In particular the Denholm property is an elegant mews family home that offers a spacious master bedroom, a large second bedroom and third single room. In a change to architectural tradition, the lounge is situated at the back of the home, allowing the stylish French doors which open onto a rear garden to fill the room with light and create an open ambience. At the front of the home resides the kitchen/diner, its open-plan design allowing for a high level of contemporary convenience, a room perfect for gathering the family at meal times or entertaining guests.
Jan continued: “This deal has been designed to enable househunters to buy with confidence. It means they don’t have the worry of finding the funds for a deposit and they know that the little investment now of only £124 a week will enable them to have a beautiful brand new family home worth £135,000.”
