Spring is in the air at Miller in Bradford

The Government backed Homebuy Direct (HBD) Scheme is now exclusively available at Valley Gardens, on Rhodesway, and will be explained at a dedicated HBD weekend on 4th & 5th April.
Miller’s trained sales advisers and independent financial advisers, are on hand to answer any questions regarding the property market and mortgage options available. As well as going through the pre-qualifying process, which enables eligible HBD purchasers to reserve their plot that weekend.
Miller Homes is releasing 15 plots at Valley Gardens under HBD. Purchasers will have the opportunity to purchase 100 percent of their home by paying 70 percent of the value, with both Miller Homes and the Government equally funding the remaining 30 percent. The 30 percent equity loan will only become repayable after 25 years or when the customer sells their home, whichever comes first.
One of the big bonuses of the scheme is that the equity loan is only repayable after 25 years, and there is no interest payable for the first five years.
One example of an apartment available under the scheme is the stylish two bed Princeton apartment priced from only £75,000. Although through HBD the purchaser will only be required to find the funds for just 70 percent of this value, just £52,500.
Jan Hanaby, area sales manager for Miller Homes Yorkshire said: “The scheme is designed to assist first time buyers, key workers and people re-entering the property market. It will help more people who have found it almost impossible to get a foot on to or climb up the property ladder, either due to the tightening of mortgage lending or because they have struggled to raise the deposits they need to secure a new home.”
Jan continued: “It’s all about choice, we as consumers demand choices and expect to be given options no matter what situation we find ourselves in. Another benefit for our homebuyers is that new homes haven’t been this affordable for years. Asking prices have come right down and buyers are now able to get a lot more for their money than they initially thought.”
Valley Gardens is situated on Rhodesway, and is located between the beauty spots of Chellow Dene and Clayton Beck and has convenient transport links to both the city centre and nearby countryside.
