Sales reach fever pitch in Navenby

24th August 2007 Print
Persimmon Homes East Midlands has reported that its Yeomans Meadow development in Navenby is the company’s best performing development this year – so much so that Phase II is now being sold off plan to keep up with demand.

“Purchasers from Grantham, Lincoln and beyond are all wising up to the benefits of living at our Navenby-based site,” comments Steve Matthews, sales director for Persimmon Homes East Midlands.

One of the reason’s Yeoman’s Meadow is so popular is because it offers a range of differing housetypes to suit even the most discerning purchaser. The properties being sold off plan in Phase II include a selection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes.

Steve continues: “Buying off plan gives purchasers the advantage of cherry picking the best plots and reserving the best homes fresh from the drawing board, enabling people to purchase a property for tomorrow at today's prices.

“In a rising market, this can result in large capital gains before you even move in. In some areas buying off-plan is becoming the norm. There are real advantages there too as house prices have soared, many have found the home they paid a deposit for some time ago is now worth much more.”

Buyers will also have the advantage of being also to upgrade items in their chosen property from Persimmon’s Finishing Touches range, this can be carried out at build stage at a competitive cost – thus avoiding the expense and inconvenience of having builders in your home after you move in.

Steve concludes: “In terms of lifestyle, buying off-plan allows a purchaser plenty of time to prepare for the move. Knowing the moving date is perhaps months down the line, purchasers can afford to take the time to choose the right schools, find out how to commute to work and research leisure activities in the area. With all of these things already organised, purchasers can look forward to a stress-free move.”

The town of Navenby has a variety of local shops, pubs and restaurants to choose from, and the neighbouring city Lincoln is just eight miles away. Navenby is just perfect for those wanting to commute to Lincoln, Grantham and Newark via the A15 and A607. There is also a train station nearby providing access to the rest of the region.
