The cutting edge of interior design

The cutting edge of interior design If you’ve ever walked into a showhome or apartment and thought ‘if only my home looked like this’ then you’ll be delighted to hear that if you buy a brand new apartment at Persimmon Homes East Midlands’ The Waterfront development in Boston, the company is offering to interior design and furnish your new pad for free.

Steve Matthews, sales director for the company, explains the initiative: “Imagine how good it would feel to buy a brand new property where the interior scheme has also been taken care of by professional designers so all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy your new surroundings.

“It’s for this reason that we’re promoting our ‘Move into a Showhome’ initiative, where purchasers at our acclaimed The Waterfront can hand pick the interior design and furniture of their choice, compliments of Persimmon.”

To give interested buyers a taste of what’s on offer, Persimmon has now launched a show apartment at the development, dressed in striking black and white, offset with injections of pink. If you prefer something a little more subtle though, the company is also showcasing differing examples at its Renaissance development in Arbury and HyrO in St Neots.

Steve concludes: “This is the perfect answer to buying and furnishing a first home as not everyone has the time, inclination, creative flair or even finances to fully design a brand new home which is why being offered the chance to move into a professionally styled property could be the ideal solution.”

The Waterfront consists of a select range of one and two bedroom apartments, with prices starting from as little as £99,995, well under the stamp duty threshold, making buying a first home a cost effective and viable option.

Situated near the south-east coast of Lincolnshire, where the River Witham becomes the Haven on its short journey to The Wash, Boston is an historic and attractive market town which is dominated by the 14th-century St. Botolph's Church whose 271ft high tower is a landmark for miles around. The town enjoys a wide range of local amenities including an excellent variety in shopping and a thriving, twice-weekly market.

The Waterfront benefits from easy access to the town’s plentiful amenities as well as excellent transport links to Lincoln and the coast. London can be reached from Boston’s train station in a little over two hours.
