Sensational summer living in Lincolnshire

Sensational summer living in Lincolnshire Live it up in the rafters this summer with a brand new home at Redrow’s Chestnut Grange, Bassingham, which offers a fantastic array of quality three-storey homes.

A loft conversion can have an enormous effect on a home, turning wasted space into stylish living areas – often the only downside is the cost. So why not get one that’s already been done for you instead?

At Redrow’s Chestnut Grange, in Bassingham, the handsome four-bedroom Ribble home features a ready-made loft conversion, providing the lucky owner with a stylish room in the roof that can be enjoyed right from the move in.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands) says: “A lot of people want to use the space in their roof to gain an extra floor of living space and add versatility to their home. The cost of loft conversions can run into tens of thousands of pounds though, and can take a lot of time and hard work.

“In the Ribble at Chestnut Grange it’s all been taken care of. We’ve used the roof space to create a stylish master bedroom and en-suite shower room. Plus, because the space is created as part of the original build, it’s perfectly integrated into the house and finished beautifully.”

On the ground floor the Ribble features a spacious lounge with adjoining dining room, a kitchen and a cloakroom. On the second floor are three double bedrooms and a bathroom.

Other house types available at the site include the Wharfe, a five-bedroom detached house with attached double garage, also with ready-made rooms in the roof giving three floors of living space.

Due to be completed by early summer, two of the Ribble style houses at Chestnut Grange will be available to move into with fitted carpets and turfed gardens provided.

Home hunters can take advantage of a host of incentives available under the umbrella of ‘re:assure,’ which are designed to make moving home as easy as possible.

On selected plots, buyers can choose to either part-exchange, helping those customers who need to sell up before moving in, or opt to have 5% deposit paid.

Part-exchange enables buyers to trade in their existing home against a brand new one from Redrow, ensuring a quick and easy move with no fear of a chain collapsing.

Chestnut Grange’s village location and rural surroundings belies its great access to Newark and Lincoln via the A46. It’s also close to the A15, A17 and A1, while Nottingham is around 40 minutes away from nearby Swinderby station.

Prices for the Ribble currently start at just £211,995 while the larger Wharfe starts at £309,950. For those on the look out for something smaller there is also a selection of two-bedroom Eden style homes, which offers an en-suite to master bedroom as well as a main bathroom, making it great for smaller families, couples or friends sharing, prices start at just £149,950.
