To Rushcliffe from rented

They couple are the first residents to move into Stamford Homes’ popular riverside Rushcliffe development at Newark, putting their own personal touches to the spacious four-bedroom detached home.
First time buyer Alex said: “We were paying around £800 a month rent in nearby Southwell, so decided to see whether it would be in our best interest to buy.
“We hadn’t heard of Stamford Homes before, but visited their website to see what they had to offer and subsequently made contact with the sales advisors at the development and we very impressed.
“We has seen the home on the plans, and to be honest, we were a little dubious about committing ourselves to the home at such an early stage,” added Alex (23).
“But once it had taken shape, it was better than we expected – we love the layout and the fact that all the homes on the development have something different to offer. The quality of the kitchen and bathroom fittings are superb and the range of tiles and other features was exceptional.”
James added: “Stamford Homes’ after-sales care has been excellent – from everyone working on-site, within sales and customer care - they have all been exceptional in dealing with any questions or queries we have had and have always got time for us.”
Alex is employed in the finance sector and works mainly from home – and so has adapted one of the rooms at the new home as an office.
As James (25) wanted to stay local to the area, he can also enjoy a relatively easy commute to his workplace in Lincoln via Newark’s excellent road and rail connections.
Alex said: “We are all-round winners, our mortgage repayments are less than our monthly rent was, and we have a fantastic new home of our own in a great location.”
Rushcliffe offers the chance to live in a private cul-de-sac setting, while enjoying the benefits of a privately-managed, purpose-built meadow that meanders down to the River Devon.
Residents moving in to one of the three and four-bedroom townhouse and detached homes will be able to enjoy all the environmental and visual pleasures of this focal point.
The development itself is situated in a semi-rural location in Newark, close to the medieval town centre and all its recreational and leisure amenities. The town has enjoys easy access to the major A1, A17 and A46 roads, as well as being less than 30 minutes’ drive to Grantham Railway Station.
The sales and marketing suite is open from Thursday to Monday from 10.30am until 5pm. Current prices start from £155,000.
