Moving made easy for busy New Waltham family

Moving made easy for busy New Waltham family No strangers to the Stamford Homes part exchange experience, Gareth Watkins and Caroline Regan are now settling into their new home at Renaissance – with the hassle-factor having been taken out of the move.

The couple and their two young children recently moved into their new five-bedroom family home at the prestigious development in New Waltham, Grimsby – highlighting location, style and character of the homes, and their previous experience with Stamford Homes as among the factors for choosing Renaissance.

Having bought through the part exchange scheme from the company under its former name Chartdale Homes some years ago, Gareth and Caroline had no qualms in pursuing the process again.

Gareth said: “We had previously part exchanged with Stamford Homes, so we know the sales negotiators and the process from previous experience. As the development is in the same village as our former home, we were aware of Renaissance since it first started and we made several visits until the right home for us became available.

“We love the individual character of the all the homes, and we still remain in the catchment area for our childrens’ schools.”

Gareth added: “I spend a lot time overseas, so Caroline is very busy looking after our children, and I am very busy when I return home. We didn’t want the hassle of advertising the house and showing people around whilst we found the right deal.

“All of time that this was in process, there would still be a chance that someone else would buy the new home we wanted. Part exchanging removed all of this worry and within a week we were sure we could have the home we had set our hearts on buying.

Under part exchange, Stamford Homes will obtain valuations on your existing property from local agents.

Providing you and your existing property meet certain criteria, Stamford Homes will then make you an offer for your existing property, usually the average price of the valuation.

Caroline is equally delighted with the new family home, and the part exchange scheme: “We received an acceptable offer within a week of us requesting part exchange. We didn’t have to deal with estate agents or worry that our existing home would not sell in time for us to be able to commit to our new one.

“All the homes at Renaissance are very individual, and if we had missed out on this one, we could not have found another like it.”
