Cost curbing scheme for Grimsby house hunters
Home-hunters looking to move in Grimsby can take advantage of a cost-curbing scheme that allows customers to pay just 75 per cent of their new home – yet own 100 per cent of it.The popular 75/25 scheme is currently available at Stamford Homes’ popular Cleefields development, where an instant saving of £35,000 can be made on the purchase of a three-bedroom townhouse.
The last remaining three-storey home on the first phase of the development is ready to move into now, with a price tag of £139,950.
A selection of similar homes is available on phase two of the development – with the first due for a late Spring completion.
However, Stamford Homes can help curb the cost of moving to Cleefields, thanks to the 75/25 scheme.
This allows the customer to reserve the home of their choice, and ensuring that legal completion is within a specified timescale, Stamford Homes will pay the remaining 25 per cent by means of an interest free loan.
This is to be paid off in up to 10 years, or settled at any point during that period. The scheme is proving popular among first time buyers in particular.
Stamford Homes associate sales director Steve Woomble said: “The three-storey townhouses have certainly captured the imagination of people who are looking for something a little different.
“The design and layout of the townhouse is such that customers can adapt the rooms and the floors to suit their own living needs and lifestyle requirements.
“This 75/25 shared equity scheme is designed to help match the demand for new homes with those customers who want to buy. Many first time buyers who thought they would be unable to get a mortgage will now find that a home of their own is at last within their reach.”
