Stamford Homes honours long-serving member They say first impressions count – and Lynne Redshaw has been helping Stamford Homes to create some fabulous ones during the past 15 years. Cleaning operative Lynne has been playing a huge role within the company for more than a decade, ensuring that countless showhomes around the region have been in tip top condition each time they open their doors.

Some of the company’s most popular showhomes have also received the personal touch from Lynne, who at times has been given the responsibility to put the odd finishing touch just before opening.

To mark her commitment and dedication to the company, Lynne has received a pair of binoculars as a gift from friends and colleagues at Stamford Homes – officially handed to her by sales and marketing director Peter Bond.

Lynne has a passion for the great outdoors, and the top of the range binoculars will certainly help her to enjoy local nature and wildlife on a different level.

Lynne said: “I started in a part-time cleaning role originally, at showhomes in and around Lincoln.

“As the years have gone on, I’ve enjoyed helping out with dressing some of the showhomes– and have to admit to stealing some wonderful interior design ideas and adapting them in my own home!”

Lynne, who also cleans and prepares the sales and marketing suites at several developments added: “I have worked with both the sales and production teams, and the best part of the job is the people. I have always been treated with the greatest of respect.

“I would also like to say a big thank you to me fellow colleague Joy Cook – she and I have worked together for most of my 15 years at Stamford Homes.”

Sales and marketing director Peter Bond said: “Lynne is a fabulous asset to the team, and her role is vital to the first impressions created by our showhomes around Lincolnshire – which ultimately is what the public judge us on when walking through the door.”
