Housing market creates a buzz in Bourne

Housing market creates a buzz in Bourne A renewed, albeit cautious, confidence in the housing market seems to suggest that customers are again looking to move home. Although national reports suggest that recovery could be slow, there are definite signs of improvement when it comes to mortgage lending and house prices.

In terms of new homes, Stamford Homes is now forging ahead with its Red Hall Gardens development in Bourne, where building work has been stepped up – with the first new homes due for completion in the autumn.

A range of contemporary three-bedroom townhouses and traditional two-storey four-bedroom detached homes are being built close to the town centre, marking a continuation of Stamford Homes’ long-standing association with Bourne and Lincolnshire.

Stamford Homes regional sales and marketing director, Peter Bond said: “We have seen a lot of signs generally of pent up demand in the housing market, and housebuilders are now getting more optimistic about the future.

“Stamford Homes continues to offer great incentives on our range of homes across all our developments, and are keen to do as much as possible to help customers regain their confidence in the industry as a whole.”

Prices currently start from £170,000, and while the first homes are several months away from completion – Stamford Homes has introduced an imaginative scheme to allow customers with an existing home to sell to still purchase the new home of their dreams – even if their own buyers wants to move in.

Stamford ASSIST Plus scheme gives added assistance where the home you want to buy then won’t be ready for several months.

While your buyers move into your home, Stamford Homes will ensure you do not lose your dream home by offering to pay your rent elsewhere for up to six months and even help to arrange the letting.

As part of ASSIST Plus, Stamford Homes will give customers a free introduction to one of its recommended letting agency partners, who will offer advice on a suitable rental home.

And helping to save the customer the costs during their wait for the new home to be completed, the scheme will offer rent paid for six months.

The sales and marketing suite is open from Thursday to Sunday from 10.30am until 5pm.
