Hull local races to Silverstone with Redrow Hull local, Lisa Brown will be enjoying a roaring weekend at this year’s British Grand Prix, following a pit stop at a Redrow homes venture in Barton-upon-Humber. Lisa, 35, who lives in the Hessle area of Hull, won two platinum weekend tickets for the racing extravaganza which takes place next week, after attending an event at Redrow’s Fox Fold in Barton-Upon- Humber.

The event, which was used to promote the beautiful development on Tofts Road and its convenient location near to the Humber Bridge, attracted a high number of visitors, including Lisa, who were impressed by the affordability of the homes.

Nursery nurse, Lisa, is actually considering buying a home at Fox’s Fold, which has terraced, semi detached and detached houses for sale with current prices from just £105,000 to £165,000 – all below the stamp duty threshold.

She comments: “I was so pleased when I won the tickets for Silverstone. I will be taking my daughter Natalie who is a huge fan of motor racing, I have never followed it before so it will be a new experience but one I am really looking forward to.”

As well as winning the tickets, Lisa and her daughter Natalie got to meet a convincing Lewis Hamilton look-alike who was on hand to pose for pictures.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director from Redrow Homes (Midlands) says: “I’m so pleased Lisa and Natalie enjoyed visiting the development. The event was a great success in raising awareness of the benefits of buying a home at the site and was particularly popular with buyers like Lisa from Hull, who liked the idea of living close to some beautiful countryside at a more affordable price with appealing commuting benefits.”
