Customer confidence leads to 2010 reservations Confidence in the housing market seems to have been well and truly restored – as far as Stamford Homes in Grimsby is concerned. Latest releases at the popular Ferriby Rise development in the Scartho Top area are selling like the proverbial ‘hot cakes’ – with reservations already running as far ahead as Spring 2010.

It marks a continued and sustained success for the development, demonstrating that there is still a need and demand for new housing.

The new phase includes a selection of stylish four-bedroom semi and detached homes, which start from £179,950.

Many of the new homes are eligible under the HomeBuy Direct scheme, which allows customers to pay up to 70 per cent of their home – with the remaining 30 per cent is paid by Stamford Homes and the Government through equity loans.

Ferriby Rise has enjoyed tremendous success since it was launched at the end of last summer.

Its location in a sought-after area of Grimsby has made it popular with those looking to stay relatively local. And the competitive prices also mean that customers are able to upgrade to a larger home with ease.

Stamford Homes sales director Steve Woomble said: “For us at Ferriby Rise, the market has always been steady and this new phase demonstrates that there are people who are serious about moving – and who can achieve their dream home with our assistance, if desired.

“Scartho Top is a popular location, with a host of amenities close at hand. Much of our interest has been, and continues to be local.

“Ferriby Rise is a prime example of that dream home possibly being just around the corner, particularly if you are looking to upsize.”

The sales and marketing suite is open from Thursday to Monday from 10.30am until 5pm.
