Miller offers great properties near good schools August is typically the month of anticipation for hundreds of students, yet parents looking to buy a property, in Gainsborough, need not worry about finding a family home near a good school.

Miller Homes is building family focused homes at its Brooklands development on the fringes of Gainsborough just over one and a half miles from the, Ofsted graded Outstanding, Queen Elizabeth’s High School.

With the impending A Level and GCSE results, many parents make school catchment areas their top priority when choosing their new home. Jan Hanaby, regional sales manager for Miller Homes Yorkshire said: “Parents know that a good education is essential for their child’s development, that is the reason schools are high, if not top, on the list of ‘must haves’ when choosing the location of their new home.”

The family-owned housebuilder has created stylish three and four bedroom homes at the exclusive development. One ideal property is the Beckett, an elegant three-bedroom three storey home with study priced from, an affordable, £142,000. The Beckett has a superbly distinctive character with a delightfully framed entrance. The main living spaces have been thoughtfully designed with the ground floor benefiting from the kitchen and dining area along with an integral garage.

The lounge on the first floor features French windows and an attractive Juliet balcony which allow in an abundance of light. The roomy master bedroom on the second floor boasts convenient en-suite facilities and fitted wardrobes. There are also a few select Becketts available under the Government backed Homebuy Direct initiative making the price of a family home at Brooklands less than £100,000, at just £99,400*.

Jan continued: “With 75 years of building homes and communities we understand what buyers require from their properties and with schools being a significant part of the decision process we are pleased to be providing the families of Gainsborough with quality homes in the right location.”

Brooklands has been excellently planned with a community feel in mind it boasts three public open spaces and a play area. It is situated on Foxby Lane on the outskirts of Gainsborough town centre and enjoys panoramic views over the lush green fields of Lincolnshire.

Make sure your new family home is in the ideal area and visit the sales centre at Brooklands, open Thursday to Monday from 10.30am to 5.30pm. Alternatively, log on to millerhomes.co.uk for more information about the development.

* Buyers qualifying for the Homebuy Direct scheme will have the opportunity to purchase 100 percent of their home by paying 70 percent of the value, with both Miller Homes and the Government equally funding the remaining 30 percent. The 30 percent equity loan will only become repayable after 25 years or when the customer sells their home, whichever comes first.

One of the big bonuses of the scheme is that the equity loan is only repayable after 25 years, and there is no interest payable for the first five years.
