“As word spreads, more and more people are coming along just to look at the interior designs,” said Barratt sales negotiator, Nicola Watton. “Everyone loves the décor.”

The bold, contemporary styling of the three-bedroom Maidstone and four-bedroom Gloucester show homes are the result of Barratt’s partnership with a team of top interior designers.

Both properties not only give visitors plenty of ideas on décor, they also show how each room could be used.

“We’ve really challenged traditional styling at Bexley Park,” said David Child, sales director at Barratt West Midlands. “and visitors clearly love it. But we’ve taken great care to balance this by showing how comfortable and practical these homes are by giving each room an identity so visitors can picture themselves living there. Both still have a very warm and homely feel.”

The Maidstone show home features a lime green and aqua colour scheme throughout. The Gloucester’s bold horizontal striped walls in the through-lounge next door and black polished marble effect worktops and chrome fittings in the modern kitchen have an immediate impact. Stunning modern light fittings and chandeliers also grab your attention in both properties.

“Visitors are also impressed by how spacious these homes are,” added Nicola. “They are extremely light and airy. They’re also proving popular with many visitors who prefer the traditional two-storey family home.”

The detached Gloucester is just that. On the ground floor there is a large lounge with feature arch, dining room with French doors leading to the garden, a large fitted breakfast kitchen, cloakroom and a utility room. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, including two double rooms and an en suite leading from the master in addition to the colour co-ordinated family bathroom.

The three-bedroom Maidstone features a spacious lounge and the fully fitted kitchen with built-in appliances is integrated with a formal dining area at the rear of the house. French doors lead onto the garden, which is ideal for enjoying some late summer parties!

Perry Common is already seeing some great results of significant investment into the area. New community projects and a brand new health centre are already being enjoyed by local residents.

Bexley Park offers a range of house designs, from two, three and four-bedroom properties with prices from £168,400 to £328,250 for the 4/5 bedroom Ascot.
