The lounge of a similar style show apartment Apartment buyers looking for attractive waterside living can now get their first look at the much sought-after lifestyle at Redrow’s Aquatude development within Dickens Heath, Solihull, thanks to a brand new show apartment.

The one-bedroom home is decked out in opulent fashion, with an array of bold colours including red wine, emerald green and plum to reflect current fashion trends and show the versatility of the homes.

The show apartment is inside the newly opened marketing suite at Aquatude which allows potential buyers to look at a scale model of the development as well as floor plans and specifications, while fully trained Redrow staff are also on hand to help out.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands) says: “Aquatude is already proving very popular but with the new show apartment we think even more people will be attracted to the development. It’s a beautiful home which displays the best of apartment living at Dickens Heath and gives viewers an idea of the potential of life at Aquatude.”

The central room in the apartment is the open plan lounge, which displays a white circular sofa to pick up the red kitchen. The living area benefits from large windows which open up the room and give it a light airy feel.

This theme is continued with glass and clear Perspex dining chairs and table and pleated white silk curtains with horizontal panels of purple and green detail.

The luxurious bedroom has a plum feature wall teamed with dark silk drapes and an inviting purple and black bed, complete with a lily patterned headboard. The bedroom also uses lamps and candles to create a warm, welcoming feeling.

Since its launch in July, Aquatude has proved popular with buyers – especially those looking to get on the property ladder for the first time. Both the one and two-bedroom apartments come with an open plan living/dining area, kitchen, bathroom, storage cupboard and either single or double parking space. The two-bedroom home also has an en-suite to master bedroom. Prices start from £136,950 for a one-bedroom apartment and £162,950 for a two bedroom home.

Redrow is among a consortium of house builders who together have created a brand new village settlement at Dickens Heath. Situated alongside the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal Dickens Heath also includes a primary school, village centre with shops and restaurants, a library, medical centre and community hall.

The development is close to Solihull town centre, which has a host of high street shops and amenities. Also nearby is the Touchwood retail complex, offering a variety of shops, restaurants and bars and a multiplex cinema.

Buyers with a penchant for shopping and fashion will benefit from the easy access to Birmingham where the Bullring offers more than 140 shops including Selfridges, Molton Brown, Armani Exchange and Debenhams.

The city also boasts The Mailbox, a designer-clad shoppers’ paradise, with Harvey Nichols, Bang & Olufsen and Toni & Guy on offer. Birmingham offers a variety of places for entertainment, dining and nights out including the National Indoor Arena, Symphony Hall and Centenary Square.

At just threes miles outside of Solihull town centre and eight miles away from Birmingham city centre, Dickens Heath is handy for a variety of road and rail links. The A34 and A435 are in close proximity as are the M42 and M40, which link to the M6 and M5.

Whitlocks End railway station is around a mile away with journey times to Stratford-upon-Avon of around 30 minutes, while trains to Birmingham Snow Hill take around 20 minutes from Solihull Station. For commuters to London, a trip to London Euston from Birmingham New Street will take around an hour and a half.

To view a life of luxury at Aquatude, head down to the marketing suite at Dickens Heath on Rumbush Lane to see the brand new show apartment.
