Late night surgery at skyline

Late night surgery at skyline Barratt West Midlands is offering to prescribe the perfect remedy to buying a new home at a weekly mortgage clinic to be held at its Skyline development on Bath Row in Birmingham city centre. The late-night surgery will take place every Thursday evening until during November, beginning this Thursday 1st November.

The free clinic will be open between 5pm and 8pm and is available to anyone thinking about buying property, from mortgage savvy investors wanting a financial ‘check up’, to first-time buyers in need of some straight forward advice and guidance.

David Child Sales Director for Barratt said, “As the country’s best known housebuilder, we understand that the property market can be a confusing place so we have devised this impartial clinic to help buyers make the right decisions.

“No appointment is necessary and potential buyers need only to arrive on the night in order to see one of our independent financial advisors (IFA). The expert IFA will provide a free diagnosis on which mortgage to chose and how much can be borrowed as well as answer questions on absolutely anything to do with mortgages - nothing is off the agenda.

“The clinic is ideal for first-time buyers who often have limited knowledge of the mortgage process and may feel out of their depth. The experienced advisor will be available to talk through all aspects of the mortgage process, whilst our experienced Sales Negotiators can give further information on the process of buying your first property.”

John Wakefield, Partner at New Homes Mortgage Services, the independent mortgage advice company taking part in the clinic added, “Mortgages can seem like a minefield and it is often a fear of the process rather than affordability issues that deter people from investing in property. We are very pleased to be participating in the clinic and look forward to meeting people to assess their individual requirements and recommend a mortgage to suit their needs.

“Along with new buyers we expect to see first-time investors as well as those with an extensive property portfolio who realise there are still long term financial gains to be achieved in the Birmingham apartment market.”

Barratt’s Skyline development on Bath Row is the venue for the clinic. The scheme provides a collection of one- and two-bedroom apartments, located just a short stroll from the Mailbox. Prices start from £122,450.
