Catch your dreams with Barratt

13th November 2007 Print
Award-winning housebuilder Barratt Homes has re-introduced its innovative ‘Dream Start’ scheme across its developments in order to help low income buyers and key-workers to get that first step on to the property ladder and capture their dreams of home ownership.

The scheme, to be rolled out across the country will mean that key-workers such as such as doctors, nurses, police and fire officers along with lower income homebuyers, such as first-time buyers, can move in to a brand new Barratt home for only 75 per cent of the purchase price, whilst still owning a full 100 per cent of the property.

David Child Sales Director for Barratt West Midlands said, “We are very excited to be able to re-launch the Dream Start scheme which proved immensely popular last summer, enabling many key workers and new buyers the chance to make that first step to home ownership with ease. In response to demand the company has rolled the scheme out to all its developments in the country on properties priced up to £250,000.

“The deferred amount is paid back as 25 per cent of the property’s open market value, at any time up to the resale of the house or within 10 years, whichever is sooner.

“There is no interest to pay or rent on the outstanding 25 per cent and buyers own their new home outright from day one. Barratt has an unmatched record in introducing innovative new schemes to assist those first-time or low income homebuyers, illustrating its commitment to helping this group of people to buy their own homes.

“There is however a limited allocation and buyers wanting to benefit from Dream Start should visit their nearest development now to avoid disappointment.”

For those who take advantage of the Dream Start offer during November, will receive a gift bag full with treasures to help promote peaceful sleep and catch your dreams. The gift bag contains a multi-coloured dream catcher and the Little Book of Dreams, along with Molton Brown eye-rescue ultra cool gel, Molton Brown relaxing bath and shower, scented candle and Snoozers are Losers energy patch.

Dream Start is currently being offered on certain properties at Barratt’s Windsor Court development on Gloucester Close in Redditch. Windsor Court has a selection of two-bedroom home available for sale with Dream Start. Prices start from £160,000.
