Teachers exchange for their perfect home at Edenside Teachers Mitchell Hill and Sarah Orme have found their perfect home at Barratt West Midlands’ Edenside development on Elwell Street in Wednesbury. The couple along with son Hayden aged 8 have purchased a Norbury style three-bedroom, three storey house and thanks to Barratt’s part-exchange scheme managed to move within just five short weeks.

Sarah, a teacher at Holly Hall Secondary School explained, “We were initially attracted to the development because of its excellent location, we are close to family and all of the local amenities are nearby, meaning we can really make the most of our precious spare time.

“Because the house is set out over three floors, there is so much space and offers us the most practical living arrangement.”

Mitchell, a teacher at St John’s Bosco Primary School added, “Barratt has been fantastic throughout the move and offered us some really brilliant deals. I took advantage of the part-exchange scheme to sell my previous house and Barratt took care of everything meaning the move went smoothly and we were in our new within no time.

“We were also offered a mortgage subsidy for two years and all fixtures and fittings were included, making the house very affordable compared to other properties in the area.”

Barratt will take care of everything from arranging the estate agent’s evaluation to providing a Home Information Pack, meaning homebuyers have a lot less to worry about.
