Barratt cleans up for local charity

On Saturday 12th July under 11s football team, the Netherton Colts North is hosting a charity car wash at Barratt West Midlands' Merryfields development on Moore Street in order to raise funds for the County Air Ambulance. The car wash will take place between 10am and 1pm at Barratt's development of new homes in Brierley Hill, where the team will be cleaning cars in aid of the charity.

Lee Parsons, Manager for the Netherton Colts North under 11s team commented, "This car wash is a fantastic opportunity for the boys to work together as a team whilst raising money for a worthy cause. It is great that Barratt is able to support us in our fundraising efforts and the monies raised will help the charity to offer its vital services to the public."

David Child, Sales Director for Barratt explained, "The County Air Ambulance is a very worthy cause and what better way to help it raise funds than through a car wash. Barratt is always looking to support the local community and charities, so this is a great way to help assist the local football team in raising these much needed funds.

"Motorists are being invited to come along to Merryfields on Saturday to have their cars cleaned by the team in return for a donation to the County Air Ambulance. To help out even further, Barratt will also match every penny donated at the car wash, which will go towards the charity's ongoing fundraising appeal."

Motorists wanting their cars washed should visit Barratt's Merryfields development on North Street in Brierley Hill, DY5 3QF this Saturday 12th July from 10am.

The County Air Ambulance is based in Brierley Hill and operates three air ambulance helicopters which cover over 8,000 square miles and 11 counties in total. To continue to operate this valuable service, the charity is required to raise over £3 million every year.
