The Curve takes shape in Wolverhampton

21st July 2008 Print
The Curve takes shape in Wolverhampton The Curve, an exciting city centre scheme of new apartments by award-winning Damar Homes, was officially opened by Dennis Turner, Lord Bilston, and Wolverhampton SW MP Rob Marris recently.

Enjoying a superb location between the Wolverhampton ring road and Tempest Street, The Curve consists of 24 one and two bedroom apartments, ten of which are housed in the part of the building from which the development gets its name.

"It's great to see a house builder prepared to construct something so different from the usual city centre apartment blocks," says Sue Bates of selling agents Connells. "The building is unique and very attractive with masses of character. Its shape means that there is a variety of interesting apartment layouts to choose from."

All enjoy the same high quality fixtures and fittings including quality kitchens with washer/dryer and stainless steel oven, hob and extractor hood. White Twyford Options bathroom suites are complemented by chrome taps and there are tv and BT points in both the living room and the main bedroom. Some of the apartments feature a heat recovery extract system which can result in savings of up to a third on heating bills - and as new homes are already much more energy efficient than older properties, this could prove a real benefit in these days of rapidly rising fuel costs.

All the properties have an allocated parking space to the rear of the building and enjoy communal landscaped garden areas. Mains powered smoke and heat detectors and a door entry system to each apartment provide added peace of mind.

"Damar Homes is a fast growing private house builder which prides itself on quality construction, innovative design and a high level of customer care," says Sue Bates. "The company won several awards for its developments in Worcestershire and Staffordshire in the Daily Mail UK Property Awards last year and I wouldn't be at all surprised if The Curve achieves the same sort of success for them."
