Homebuyers shown how it's done at Skyline In order for buyers to get the most from their new apartments at Barratt West Midlands' Skyline development on Bath Row in Birmingham, the housebuilder has produced a demonstration DVD, showing new residents how to use the features and equipment in their new home.

Skyline is modern development of one- and two-bedroom apartments situated in the heart of Birmingham city centre, making ideal for couples and young professionals. As with all homes, purchasers are often faced with unfamiliar or new appliances and equipment which can be confusing and time consuming, in order to overcome this, Barratt has produced a DVD which demonstrates how to use all the features of the apartment in a straight forward way.

The DVD includes step-by-step demonstrations of a range of features such as the electrical and heating systems, windows, radiators, washing machine, taps/shower features and oven.

David Child, "We want homebuyers to get the best out of their new property from the moment they step through the door, but this can sometimes be difficult when they are faced with different heating and electrical systems or appliances. This is why we felt it was so important to give purchasers something which explained all the different features of the home and how to use them correctly.

"By putting this information onto a DVD format, viewers will not only be able to see the equipment being used in situ rather than using a set of written instructions, making it easier to understand and follow. But it also means that they can watch it at their own leisure and review the information as many times as they like. It could also be particularly useful for landlords who will simply be able to leave the DVD with tenants, rather than several manuals and important documents."

Skyline is a luxury development situated close to all the shops and amenities that Birmingham has to offer such as the Mailbox and Bullring shopping centres. The apartments have all been designed to a superior specification and include features such as lifts to all floors, video entry systems to all apartments; secure parking to selected plots and most apartments also have a balcony or terrace.

Prices at Skyline start from £74,975 for low cost homes and from £149,950 for standard sales. For more information log on to Barratthomes.co.uk/skyline.
