Local team nets donation from Barratt

Barratt is currently building a range of homes at sites throughout the West Midlands and has donated £250 to the ladies netball team, called Fusion. The team, which trains in Bartley Green, Birmingham and was in desperate need for funds, has been able to buy new pink t-shirts and training equipment.
Fusion goal shooter and Office Assistant at Barratt, Danni Salkeld joined the team at the beginning of the year. She explained, "The team really needed some new training clothes and equipment, so we were very grateful when Barratt offered to donate £250 towards the kit. As we are a local team any equipment we need is usually funded by members of the team which can be quite costly, so it is great that Barratt has been able to fund this much needed new equipment."
David Child, Sales Director for Barratt commented, "We at Barratt always endeavour to support the local communities in which we build whenever possible. Netball is a fantastic sport, but is sometimes overshadowed by more popular sports such as football when it comes to funding. This is why we have decided to support this local ladies team and we are very pleased that the donation has been used in such a way that will benefit the whole team."
