Homebuyers sail through the gates at Canal Walk

8th October 2008 Print
Earlier this month homebuyers were invited to sail along to Barratt West Midlands Canal Walk development where they were able to enjoy a free canal boat ride in order to celebrate the ‘Black Country Boating Festival'.

Situated on Halesowen Road in Netherton, alongside the Dudley Canal, Canal Walk is just a few minutes from the Bumble Hole Nature Reserve which was the venue for the annual boating festival and which has this year been supported by the housebuilder.

Graydon Worthing Sales Director for Barratt explained, "We were extremely proud to be supporters of the Black Country Boating Festival and to help celebrate we offered all visitors the chance to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the canal with a free boat ride.

"Purchasers were able to view our wide selection of new homes and stylish showhome as well as taking the relaxing boat ride along the canal. The open day gave visitors a real insight into the benefits that come with living by the water such as the abundance of wildlife and canal side walks."

Canal Walk is a quiet development situated on a no through road, just over a mile from Dudley town centre and 11 miles from Birmingham city centre and its excellent range of shops, bars and restaurants.

Canal Walk offers a selection of two-bedroom apartments and three- and four-bedroom houses. Prices start from £138,750. For more information log on to Barratthomes.co.uk/canalwalk.
