Get moving with George Wimpey in Coventry Home-owners sick of the sight of their ‘For Sale’ sign can now find an easier way to move by choosing a brand new home at George Wimpey’s Bannerbrook Grange development in Coventry.

The leading house-builder is helping its customers beat the slowdown in the market, by making new homes available in part-exchange for their existing property – or helping them to find a buyer and paying the estate agency fees.

Daniel McGowan, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for George Wimpey, explains: “So many people are struggling to sell their current home – and without a buyer the chance of their offer being accepted on any new home is seriously affected.

“Our part-exchange and Easymover schemes at Bannerbrook Grange mean that people can choose a new home secure in the knowledge that their existing property won’t hold them back. Our schemes are a simple way to gain peace of mind and to move in as little as a fortnight.”

Using the part-exchange scheme, George Wimpey gains an independent valuation of the customer’s current property and agrees a purchase price with them.

Through Easymover, the house-builder again instructs a valuation of the customer’s existing home and agrees a price, arranges the sale of the property through its appointed estate agents and picks up their bill – the complete process taking around four to six weeks.

Just one of the homes available using either of the schemes is the four-bedroom ‘Cambridge’ a charming family-sized home characterised by an L-shaped layout, making the most of views of the rear garden.

An exceptional kitchen with spacious breakfast room and a separate lounge both open through French doors to the garden, while the ground floor is completed by a dining room and a cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to the large master bedroom with built-in wardrobes and an en-suite with large shower cubicle, three further well-proportioned bedrooms and a main bathroom with separate bath and shower.

Like all new homes at the development, the ‘Cambridge’ enjoys a high standard specification including gas central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.

As an alternative to the ‘Cambridge’, which is priced from £299,995, homebuyers can choose from three-bedroom houses starting at just £174,950 and four-bedroom designs from only £199,995.

George Wimpey also offers a range of deals tailor-made for all types of buyers, including 5% deposit and legal fees paid for first-time buyers and incentives for those looking to invest in property.

Bannerbrook Grange is ideally located close to the beautiful Warwickshire countryside and just a short stroll from Tile Hill Wood nature reserve while offering quick commuter links into Coventry, Birmingham, Leicester, Solihull and Warwick.

The homes are also within easy walking distance of shops catering for everyday needs, a pub and places to eat, while Tile Hill station is less than a mile away with services into Coventry taking just seven minutes, and 20 minutes to Birmingham New Street. From Birmingham, services to Central London take 80 minutes.

The local area is also well-served by primary and secondary schools, while the M6 and the M42 are easily accessed from the development, providing quick road links to Birmingham, the North West, and the M1 north and south.

There’s also plenty of opportunity for leisure and pleasure, with Coventry enjoying a revitalisation of cultural life and boasting extensive shopping and recreation, including cinemas, theatres, museums and art galleries, restaurants catering for every taste and trendy bars.
