A match made in heaven at The Spires

Bryant Homes was popping the champagne corks recently after helping Paul Malthouse and Becky Willmott cement their future together by becoming the first couple to get engaged at The Spires, Bryant Homes’ development in Stourbridge.

Just a few months after they bought their first home together at the development on Church Avenue Paul decided he wanted to pop the question by whisking Becky away for the weekend. To make the occasion Bryant Homes helped Paul make his proposal extra special with a stay at the luxury Hotel du Vin.

Paul said: “Obviously buying a home together is a big expense so it was really difficult to find extra cash for an engagement ring and even more of challenge to fund a romantic weekend. You only propose once so I really wanted to sweep Becky off her feet and ask her to marry me somewhere special. When the team heard about my plans they kindly offered to pay for the hotel in celebration of us being the first couple to get engaged at The Spires. We had a wonderful weekend and Becky was absolutely thrilled when I finally got down on one knee – she couldn’t stop smiling.”

Becky added: “It was really generous of Bryant Homes to help Paul and he certainly succeeded in sweeping me off my feet! We had such a lovely weekend together and the hotel was wonderful – a real treat! I can’t stop gazing at my beautiful engagement ring and we’ve already discussed a date for our wedding.”
