Can they fix it? Yes they did!

Can they fix it? Yes they did! A nursery in Wordsley, Stourbridge, are proud owners of brand new car parking facilities, courtesy of house builder, Persimmon Homes. Persimmon is currently building at its Crystal Mead development in Wordsley, near the site of Rainbow Nursery on Stream Road which caters for babies from three months old to pre-school children aged four and a half.

Staff from Persimmon installed the car park as part of development of the site and it will be used by parents when they drop off and collect their children.

Sharon Monkton, owner and manager of the Rainbow Nursery, said: “Persimmon site staff have really looked after us since they started working on the development. They have made lots of health and safety provisions for staff, children and their parents and have been more than happy to answer any questions the youngsters have about the building process.

“In fact, so insatiable has the children’s appetite been for watching the builders at work that we have incorporated this subject into learning activities at nursery!

“Everyone here is so grateful for the new car park that when it was finished off, the children thought it would be a nice gesture to present the builders with a ‘thank you’ card and they even sang the ‘Bob the Builder’ theme tune to them!”

Persimmon’s Crystal Mead development on Auckland Road is situated on the site of the former Wordsley Hospital and many buildings, including the historic clock tower, will be retained and sympathetically restored.

The development has a stunning variety of homes and apartments with something to suit everyone incorporating a mix of two, three, four, five and six bedroom properties. Homes on release are currently priced from £107,500 for a two bed apartment and from £169,950 for a range of houses.
