New homes are a family affair at Century Square

14th September 2009 Print
New homes are a family affair at Century Square Leading housebuilder George Wimpey North Midlands has just launched a new range of family-size two, three and four-bedroom homes at Century Square, its popular development in the sought-after West Midlands town of Halesowen.

The first phase of homes at the development has been snapped up incredibly fast, and with the 2009 allocation now sold, customers are being urged to reserve their home for 2010 now.

Among the houses available is the fabulous three-bedroom ‘Croxton’ – a great place for couples to get a foot on the property ladder, or for those looking for a fresh, low-maintenance family home. Priced just £179,995 and with the new lower interest reducing the cost of mortgages, now is a brilliant time to buy.

The ‘Croxton’ is characterised by a spacious lounge/dining room with French doors to the rear garden, a thoughtfully designed kitchen, and a cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to a master bedroom with en-suite shower room, two further bedrooms and a main bathroom.

In common with all new homes at Century Square, the ‘Croxton’ enjoys a high standard specification including gas central heating, double glazing and fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and cooker hood.

As an alternative to the ‘Croxton’, homebuyers can also choose from four-bedroom houses at the development priced from £249,995.

Customers with a home to sell can take advantage of George Wimpey’s quick and simple part-exchange scheme and its Easymover incentives, available on selected plots. Each eliminates the need to find a buyer for an existing property or to pay estate agents’ fees, and ensures a fast move to a brand new home.

George Wimpey also offers a range of deals tailor-made for all first-time buyers, including 5% deposit paid, and incentives for property investors.

Century Square enjoys an idyllic location within sight of the local cricket club, just a short walk from Halesowen town centre and within easy reach of the Worcestershire countryside and nearby Clent Hills.

Halesowen itself retains an historic character, with beautiful architectural features combining with modern shops, restaurants, cafes and cultural amenities. A traditional farmers’ market still runs on the second Saturday of each month.

The town offers plenty of outdoor pursuits, including green parks and recreation grounds, tennis courts, a bowling green, golf course and leisure centre. A selection of schools and Halesowen College of Further Education are also within easy walking distance of the development.

For commuters, Century Square affords excellent access to the M5 and Birmingham.
