Homebuyers take to the sky with Linden

Landscaped garden at Air, Crawley Linden Homes’ Air development of family homes in Crawley has become a favourite with air travel personnel and business travellers across the region, who are attracted by its proximity to Gatwick airport.

With demand for air travel continuing to grow, quality housing within easy reach of the London airports is essential for those employed within the industry. The current Linden development most convenient for air travel is Air in Crawley, a collection of 30 two and three-bedroom terraced homes that can be reached from Gatwick in just five minutes.

Dominic Webber and Jason Sorter are among many Gatwick employees to have bought a home at Air. Both moved into new two bedroom houses at the development with their wives last year and are already benefiting from the short journey to their respective jobs at the airport. Jason has even taken to cycling the route, which he is able to do in just 20 minutes. He said:

“Being this close to Gatwick has been so convenient. It is great to be able to leave for work knowing it’s just five minutes down the road, and no distance if I choose to take the bike. It really is a huge bonus to have found a new development like this within such easy reach of the airport.”

With prices starting at £224,995 for a two-bedroom, mid-terraced house with en-suite bathrooms and a south-facing garden, homebuyers at Air will find some of the most affordable new family homes in the south east.

Ian Randall, Managing Director of Linden Homes South East comments: “It is not surprising that Air has proved so popular with buyers in the air travel industry. Convenience aside, it is also the residential setting that attracts people to the development. This suggests that the balance is just about right, offering those working out of Gatwick a quiet family retreat within a stone’s throw of their workplace.”
