Form an orderly queue at Charles Church in Haywards Heath

Geoff Goodman and his six-year-old son Alexander Every year hundreds of thousands of people queue to get what they want. Be it Topshop’s new Kate Moss clothing range or tickets for a special concert, people who queue do so because they don’t want to end up disappointed.

Shiona and Geoff Goodman are familiar with queuing. They had their heart set on purchasing a two–bedroom coach house at Charles Church’s St Paul’s on-the-Green development in Haywards Heath and, when they heard there were only four for sale, they were not going to take any chances.

Shiona says: “We had been looking for a house to invest in for our two children for a long time and when we heard Charles Church was going to be developing in Haywards Heath we knew that was where we wanted to buy. We have seen Charles Church developments before and know that they stand the test of time.

“We were adamant not to miss out so my husband decided to sleep in his car outside the development the night before,” continues Shiona. ”He was the first person in the queue and others started to queue in the early hours of the morning. I brought down some bacon butties at about 6.30am for some people and, when the doors opened at 10am, there was a really long queue.”

Shiona and Geoff reserved The Richmond – a two bedroom coach house with single garage and open plan living room and kitchen – and by the end of the day the remaining Richmonds were also reserved.

Shiona adds: “We are glad that we made the effort to sleep in the car the night before as we were able to reserve the property we really wanted.”

St Paul’s on-the-Green is an exclusive collection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes set around a traditional village green. The development offers something for everyone and, with interest levels remaining high, purchasers are urged to visit now.
