Buyers enjoy days beside the seaside at Pebble Beach

The properties at Pebble Beach Happy childhood memories of the local area are attracting many city buyers to Barratt Homes’ Pebble Beach development at Bracklesham Bay in West Sussex, which has recently launched its second phase.

“At least 15 per cent of our buyers are Londoners who have been coming here for holidays since they were children and wanted to relocate to the area,” reports Phil Hodder, Barratt Homes sales negotiator.

“They love the seaside location – the development is only just under a kilometre from the pebbly beach and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. However, it’s not an isolated area – buses run every 15 minutes to Chichester with its shops and theatre, and there are excellent rail and motorway links to the rest of the south coast and London.

“Also, although the bay is an up and coming area, property prices are cheaper here than in Chichester.”

The Pebble Beach development of two, three and four bedroom homes is now in its second phase and, thanks to Barratt Homes’ wide range of financial incentives; it is attracting first-time buyers as well as families and older couples.

“Our original show home – the Richmore two-bedroom terraced house - was sold to a first time buyer,” Phil continues. “We have a special initiative where buyers can move into a brand new property for a down payment of just £99 on selected homes. This option includes a five per cent deposit paid and we also cover the cost of stamp duty and legal fees.”

Prices for a two-bedroom terraced property start from £217,500, rising to £272,995 for a three- bedroom detached house with garage and car parking space.
