A home away from home in Rustington

Mr and Mrs Liston had viewed a large number of apartments along the South Coast when they came across Horizon at Rustington, a development by Berkeley Homes development just 100 yards from the sea.

Mr Liston says: “Although we have a pub where we obviously spend a great deal of time we still want our new apartment to be a home and somewhere we can ‘escape’ to on our days off.”

The couple owned a Victorian detached house in Lingfield, which was both high maintenance, and costly to run. Mr Liston continues: “we wanted something that was brand new with low running costs that would be easy to maintain but also still close enough to our place of work.”

However the sale was not without its hiccups as only ten days before they were due to exchange on their house, their buyer pulled out. Berkeley Homes gave them an extension on their exchange date and provided assistance when their new buyer made a lower offer.

Mr Liston summarises, “We are delighted with our purchase, I’ve asked the sales team to come and have a meal at our pub as a thank-you for all their help. The apartment is really convenient for all the local facilities; I can walk to the shops in under ten minutes and everything we need is close by.”

In addition to the beach on the doorstep, Rustington’s bars and restaurants are just a five-to-ten minute walk away. There is an indoor swimming pool just down the road and an Esporta Health Club is a five minute drive away.
