Family put children’s education top of house moving agenda When Yana and Peter Aplin were looking to move out of their two bedroom house in Burgess Hill, it was a good school catchment area that was on top of their list of priorities. Hearing about a new eco-school at Bolnore Village which is scheduled to open in the same year that their son Hugo is due to start school, they bought a new home at Bovis Homes Birch Grove development.

Due to open in 2009, the parent run school set in ancient woodlands next to the development is set to see the arrival of a large number of families to the area. Birch Grove is already attracting young families with parents looking to give their children a more complete and eco-education.

Yana comments on their purchase: “Hugo’s education was top of our agenda so when I heard that this new school had received planning permission we decided to move there. We think it is great that Hugo will learn about the environment from such an early age as this is a fundamental step for future generations. We are so glad that we made the move to Birch Grove as there is a real sense of community here. Many of the parents will be helping run the school which, having now met the majority, is very reassuring”

Set at the heart of Bolnore Village and only a few minutes walk away from the proposed educational site, Birch Grove is the ideal option for families who wish to enrol their children at the school. Offering a stylish collection of apartments and spacious three and four bedroom homes located in an attractive village community, Birch Grove has something to offer every type of family.

Nina Basey Fisher, Area Sales Director for Bovis Homes (South East) comments: “We are thrilled to hear that Bolnore Village has received permission for the eco-school scheduled to open next year. The proactive approach of the parents in the community now means that their children can receive a truly inspirational education. As a result of the proposed school we have seen a distinct increase in interest from families looking to buy a home at Birch Grove.”

By using Bovis Homes home exchange scheme, Yana and Peter were able to sell their property easily and move into their larger family home.

Yana continues:” We wouldn’t have been able to move so quickly had it not been for the home exchange deal. It totally removed the stress of not being able to sell our house in the current market and meant that we could exchange at Birch Grove within weeks. Now we are all set in our new family home and ready to get involved with the development of the school.”

Well situated for a growing family, Bolnore Village is in a good location for a variety of local shops, boutiques and restaurants. With a number of leisure centres within easy reach and proposals for a doctors surgery in place, Birch Grove is a well rounded family development.

Furthermore, being located within easy reach of the M23, the attractive village setting at Birch Grove is in an ideal location for commuters. Only half a mile from the local train station, Gatwick is only a ten minutes train journey and frequent services run to London in just over 40 minutes.

Prices at Birch Grove start from £314,950 for a three bedroom house. For further information log on to Bovishomes.co.uk .
