Country living goes to town

9th October 2008 Print
Few choices are more agonising than that of where to live. Your heart may yearn for the rural idyll but your head tells you that proximity to a town centre and major transport links including airports is crucial for running your daily life. Now you can follow your head and your heart as there is one new homes development at least that ticks both boxes.

Bellway’s Sandpiper Place in Pulborough near Horsham is ideal for those who want the best of city and country living. And to ease the buying process, the housebuilder has come up with a range of measures.

Lyn Neale, Sales Director of Bellway Southern Counties, explains: “We recognise that moving home in today’s market can be a tortuous business so we aim to ease the process and have introduced a part exchange scheme whereby if you buy one of our homes, we’ll buy yours - at full market value”.

Currently available at Sandpiper Place are a mix of two- bedroom apartments and two, three and four -bedroom houses. Two bedroom apartments are available from £185,000; two-bedroom houses start at £240,000; three- bedroom houses from £290,000 and four bedroom from £350,000.

Pulborough is a quaint traditional English town located at the southern-most boundary of the Horsham district. This is an area steeped in history and surrounded by open countryside but close enough to one of London’s airports that, due to its location, the site is proving popular with travel trade executives.

Lyn Neale adds: “For those people working in the travel trade the world is their oyster. So, the fact that they are picking our homes in Pulborough is a pleasing vote of confidence. However, this comes as no surprise to me, as this is a truly outstanding development”.

Pulborough town centre has a good selection of local specialist shops and supermarkets, a bank and pubs restaurants. There is also a dental and doctor’s surgeries and local leisure facilities and schools, offering everything to satisfy your day-to-day needs.

For commuters, Pulborough is situated near to the A29 and the A24 offering easy access not only to Gatwick and Crawley but also to many south coast towns and cities including Chichester and Portsmouth. The town’s railway station has a main line rail link to London Victoria, which takes approximately 1 hour and fifteen minutes.
