Petting zoo fun at Clayton Mills in Sussex There will be fun for all the family at Clayton Mills, Barratt’s new development in Sussex this weekend. On Saturday 25th April from 11 am to 4 pm a petting zoo full of interesting creatures, from mice to meerkats, spiders to snakes will be available for children – and their parents - to handle with the help of a team of fully trained zoo staff.

It will provide the perfect opportunity to spend a day out with your children this springtime. There will be fluffy animals to stroke such as baby rabbits, guinea pigs, chicks and ducklings – as well as some weird and wonderful zoo creatures including ferrets, parrots, lizards and snakes – to provide plenty of unusual photo opportunities!

Clayton Mills is located close to Hassocks village and overlooks the South Downs. With its own pond, play areas and a network of footpaths, it has a warm village atmosphere and offers a very wide range of house types. Prices start from £260,995 for a three-bedroom home and range up to £525,995 for a five-bedroom home.

An excellent range of incentives is available to help prospective purchasers in every situation. If you have a property to sell, you could take advantage of Barratt’s popular Part Exchange Service with Mortgage Protection.

Barratt can buy your existing home and handle everything from then on. This takes away the worry of being in a chain and you can even stay in your old property until the new one is ready. With no estate agent fees to pay, or HIP pack to prepare, you save money too. Barratt will also pay the first year’s premium to insure buyers against being unable to make their mortgage payments through no fault of their own.

“It’s great to have a little extra peace of mind when you’re moving into a new home,” said Trevor Sawyer, Managing Director of Barratt Southern Counties.

“Whether it’s illness, injury, redundancy or something else unexpected, this policy will ensure that monthly mortgage repayments are covered in full for up to three years. It’s a welcome element of reassurance in these uncertain times.”

The free insurance applies to standard protection policies taken out by homebuyers as a requirement of their mortgage offer. Customers will have no monthly premiums to pay for the first year and the cover – should it be needed – will meet the whole of each month’s mortgage repayments for up to three years. Buyers may still be eligible for other assistance packages from Barratt.

Prices start from £260,995 for a three-bedroom home and range up to £525,995 for a five-bedroom house.
