Interior design to satisfy chocoholics’ desires

A show home that’s good enough to eat will soon draw customers in at Redrow’s luxury development in Colchester. A decadent mix of lemon, creams and chocolates will have buyers licking their lips and clamouring to see what life at The Myle would be like first hand.

The Thurn home showcases life over three floors, giving buyers an idea of one of the many ways the extra room in the spacious terrace can be used.

The atmosphere in the house is kept light and airy with the freshness of lemon and light cream. The modern style is also complemented with oak finished furniture.

On the ground floor the main highlights are the kitchen - featuring sheer colours, French doors to the garden and Roman blinds to create a bright and fresh atmosphere – as well as the family room, with a yellow, cream and brown colour scheme.

The master bedroom, with en-suite shower room, is found on the first floor and features dark chocolate and lemons, with feather trims and velvet cushions. While the lounge, also on the same floor, makes use of cream furniture, with a sumptuous chocolate brown sofa centre piece, plus light taupe linen and cream and yellow silk and velvet cushions.

The Myle is located on Mill Road and in a prime location for commuters, with its easy access to the A12, which leads directly to the capital by car in around 90 minutes; while rail links from nearby Colchester North Station provide access to Ipswich in less than 20 minutes and to London Liverpool Street in about an hour. The development is also situated on a main bus route.
