See for yourself at Chapel Lawns in Felsted The school girl who named Charles Church’s Chapel Lawns development and her friends and family were the guests of honour at the official preview of the development’s brand new show apartment on Thursday (13th September) afternoon.

More than 30 invited guests, including staff and governors from The Felsted Schools, joined Felsted Preparatory School pupil Grace Edgington to take a sneak preview of the show apartment before it launched to the public at the weekend. The adult guests enjoyed champagne and canapés and the younger guests enjoyed orange juice and snacks before viewing the ground floor show apartment in Ingram House and watching Grace and her friends cut the ribbon to mark the grand opening.

Charles Church North London’s Land Director, Adam Norton, spoke at the launch about the house builder’s relationship with The Felsted Schools. “My first contact with the school was with the Bursar, Paul Watkinson who, I must say, has been a pleasure to deal with and has been extremely helpful in allowing us to occupy some extra land for our site compound and parking,” he said.

“It has been a refreshing change to deal with such a helpful vendor because most simply take the money and run but in this instance, the school remains our Landlord and we have an ongoing commitment to each other which makes for a close working relationship.”

Grace also picked out the raffle ticket of the lucky winner of a magnum of Champagne and Adam Norton presented them with their prize. The raffle helped to raise £57 for Charles Church’s chosen charity, Dreams Come True.
